So what did I do?
I wrote down my opinion on every Buffyverse ship I could think of, at least the canon ones. Now, I enjoy a lot of Buffyverse ships, others less so. No bashing here, just my honest thoughts, positive and negative.
Buffy/Angel: I think it's romantic and I like it a lot in canon. However, I don't necessarily want it to be endgame for either of them. That being said, I love me some S2 and S3 Bangel!
Willow/Oz: They're super cute! I don't read/write a ton of fic that focuses on them (maybe I should) but they're always a fun background pairing. Love them!
Giles/Jenny: I'm pretty neutral on them. I liked them fine but don't really see the hype personally.
Spike/Dru: They're so romantic! They're kinda with Bangel in that I love watching them onscreen but I don't know that I want them endgame?? Then again, I do like them a lot so... I dunno. But I will always love their canon scenes and I enjoy a good Spru fic every now and then.
Xander/Cordelia: Pretty neutral on them, to be honest. The writing felt a little forced; if it had been more natural I might have liked it better.
Xander/Willow: Ok, this one felt really forced. A few fics have convinced me of Xander/Willow but otherwise, I prefer them as platonic besties.
Cordelia/Wesley: They were kinda cute! I feel like I would have stronger feelings one way or the other if there had been more of it.
Giles/Joyce: So so so cute! I wish wish wish we had gotten more of them.
Buffy/Riley: They are so wonderful! One of my favorite canon ships! Ugh I love them so so much. Not a fan of how it ended for them. S4 is peak Briley in my opinion.
Whatever the hell was going on with Maggie and Riley and Maggie and Buffy and also the three of them: now that's my favorite, too.
Anya/Xander: Very much not my favorite. I'm not a huge Anya fan, and I just didn't love the ship. It just isn't my cup of tea.
Tara/Willow: They're alright. I prefer Willow/Oz but Tillow is okay. I'm pretty 'eh' on Tillow and Tara overall, but I don't mind it as a background ship.
Buffy/Ben: Hugely underrated ship in my opinion. Wish it had gone farther than just flirting, there was SO MUCH potential there.
Spike/Buffy: I wanted to like it. I enjoyed Something Blue. But the direction the writers took it in in S5 and S6 was...not the way I would have handled it. I wish they'd had a more mutual hating relationship, instead of Spike deciding he was attracted to Buffy first. I wanted to see "I hate you!" "Well I hate you more!" *kissing*
Buffy/Robin Wood: It's alright. No strong feelings.
Willow/Kennedy: It felt too soon after Tara's death, and I didn't care for Kennedy. So this one is not for me.
Cordelia/Doyle: They were sweet, wish we'd gotten more for them. Not my favorite but always a cute background pairing.
Angel/Kate: Not quite canon, but we'll count it. I liked them a lot! Not sure I ship them endgame, but they were so fun! A lot of missed potential there.
Wesley/Virginia: Super underrated ship! Not my number one fav but I enjoyed them a lot!
Darla/Dru: I love them and they should be allowed to commit evil together. Enough said.
Angel(us)/Darla: I like them only in the Angel/Darla divorced hatefucking flavor. Not really endgame or romantic.
Lindsey/Darla: They're both using each other to get close to Angel... It's ok as a temp thing but I don't ship it endgame.
Cordelia/Groo: They were fun and cute. Not my number one favorite but I like it during the Pylea arc.
Angel/Fred: I liked them better than some other ships for Fred. I don't really ship it endgame, though.
Fred/Gunn: One of the most "wholesome" ships in the 'verse, in my opinion. I found them rather sweet, but I just didn't feel the chemistry. That may have been the actors, though.
Wesley/Lilah: I love Lilah/Anyone. Not my favorite Lilah ship but my favorite Wes ship. I didn't wanna like Weslah but....well, I did. I love Lilah so so much.
Angel/Cordelia: This one is a nope from me personally. The writing felt forced and I just....don't see myself seeing the ship even if the writing was better.
Angel/Nina: It was okay but not my favorite. I feel like we didn't really get to know Nina.
Angel/Eve: Their magic induced hook up was funny but I really don't ship it. I'm not a huge Eve fan.
Fred/Wesley: It's okay, but I also don't really understand the hype for this one. I did enjoy it in S5 though.
Spike/Angel: I love love love this. Spangel will always have a special place in my heart. I love them!
Lindsey/Eve: All I see is Lindsey's Angel obsession. And again, not a huge Eve fan. Very 'eh' on this one.
Angel(us)/Dru: I like the past Angelus/Dru stuff but don't really ship it endgame.
Fred's Mom/Fred's Dad: Possibly the one healthy Buffyverse relationship. Adorable.
